OnLine Solutions, LLC D.B.A. Post Institute™  (“Post Institute”) has created this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to demonstrate our commitment to privacy. The following statement explains our information-gathering and dissemination practices for our web sites at www.Post Institute.com  (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy may change from time to time, so please check back periodically. Throughout this Privacy Policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” will mean Post Institute™. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of persons or entities that Post Institute™ does not control manage or employ. What information does Post Institute™ collect from me as an end user?

You can browse our Sites without telling us who you are or giving us any personally identifiable information about yourself. When you interact with us through your computer, our Site does record certain non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our Sites. Our Site employs “cookies,” which are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser. We employ “cookies” to perform these functions: to let us know how long you are on to our Site; and to provide us with statistics regarding what pages of our Site you visited, and how long you spent there. You may configure your browser to accept all “cookies,” reject all “cookies,” or notify you when a “cookie” is sent.

We collect personal information directly when you provide it to us, automatically as you navigate through the Sites, or through other people when you use services associated with the Sites.

We collect your personal information when you provide it to us when you complete membership registration and buy or provide items or services on our Sites, subscribe to a newsletter, email list, submit feedback, enter a contest, fill out a survey, or send us a communication.

Personal information we collect about you from others

Although we generally collect personal information directly from you, on occasion, we also collect certain categories of personal information about you from other sources. In particular:

financial and/or transaction details from payment providers located in the US,  in order to process a transaction; This data is stored securely in third party approved software.

Information Collected Off-Site

Post Institute™ also places advertisements on partner websites and approved third party locations. In addition to collecting data on our Site, Post Institute™ is able to obtain personally identifiable information from your voluntary registration through advertising links. The purpose of these ad units is to provide you with a convenient and user-friendly registration options.

Third party service providers (like Google, Facebook) who are located in the US,  which may provide information about you when you link, connect, or login to your account with the third party provider and they send us information such as your registration and profile from that service. The information varies and is controlled by that service provider or as authorized by you via your privacy settings at that service provider; and

Other third party sources/ and or partners from  US ,  whereby we receive additional information about you (to the extent permitted by applicable law), such as demographic data or fraud detection information, and combine it with information we have about you. For example, fraud warnings from service providers like identity verification service. We also receive information about you and your activities on and off the Post Institute platform through partnerships, or about your experiences and interactions from our partner ad networks. We also receive information about you as a rights holder from our third party authors. For example, information in the form of a model release when your image is used in an item made available on our Sites.

Does Post Institute™ track my IP address?

When you visit the Sites, our web servers automatically collect limited information about your computer’s connection to the Internet, including your IP address (which is a number that lets computers attached to the Internet know where to send you data). Your IP address does not identify you personally. We log your IP address to (i) deliver our web pages to you upon request; (ii) tailor our Site to the interests of our users; (iii) help diagnose problems with our server; (iv) administer our Site in order to constantly improve the quality of the Site; (v) measure traffic within our Site; and (vi) prevent fraudulent use of the Site by others. Post Institute™ may also track what we call a Customer Identification Number (“CID”), located within our URL, to determine the web site from which you navigated to get to this Site. This CID number does not contain personally identifiable information, and the CID number may not be apparent to you. We may also track and analyze non-identifying, aggregate usage and volume statistical information from our visitors and users (all of this information is “Aggregated Data”).

How does Post Institute™ use my information?

Post Institute™ employs persons and entities to perform functions on our behalf, such as sending mail and email, or helping with the maintenance or set up of our servers or computers, providing online analytics or assessing web site effectiveness with A/B testing. Such persons or entities have access to your personally identifiable information needed to perform their functions, but are contractually prohibited from using such information for any other purposes. If you have provided your telephone number to us through our Site then you may be contacted by one of our staff members about urgent campaigns (such volunteers and staff members are bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy and will not use your personally identifiable information for any other purpose). If you send emails through this Site, we will use the personally identifiable information you submit in conjunction with such email as necessary to send the email.Where this is necessary for purposes which are in our, or third parties, legitimate interests. These interests include:

Where we transfer and/or store your personal information

  1. We are based in the US so your data will be processed in the US. Some of the recipients we have described in section 10 above, and to whom we disclose your personal information.  We do this on the basis of your consent to this policy.In order to protect your information, we take care  to work with subcontractors and service providers who we believe maintain an acceptable standard of data security compliance.

How we keep your personal information secure

  1. We store personal information on secure servers that are managed by us and our service providers, and occasionally hard copy files that are kept in a secure location in the US. Personal information that we store or transmit is protected by security and access controls, including username and password authentication, two-factor authentication, and data encryption where appropriate.

How you can access your personal information

  1. You can access some of the personal information that we collect about you by logging in to your account. You also have the right to make a request to access other personal information we hold about you and to request corrections of any errors in that data. Information you make public or give to others

How you can access your personal information  

  1. You are also entitled to ask us to port your personal information (i.e. to transfer in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, to you), to erase it, or restrict its processing. Post Institute™ has contractual arrangements with certain partners to provide information and services through the Site. The use of such “cookies” by each of these partners is subject to their own privacy policy, not the Privacy Policy of Post Institute™ . To remove your personally identifiable information from our database so that you do not receive further Communications, you can email Post Institute™. Requests filed in a timely manner will be processed within 10 days.

What about the privacy policies of site linking to the Site or to which the Sites link?

We provide links on our Site to other web sites provided by third parties. In addition, some users access our Site via another site or a link on another site. We have no control over the sites that link to our Site or to which our Site links. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any site other than our Site. What constitutes my acceptance of this Privacy Policy?

By using the Sites, you expressly consent to the use and disclosure of information as described in this Privacy Policy. Post Institute™ may modify this Privacy Policy at any time and will post a change notice with the new Privacy Policy on this Site. Your continued use of the Sites after the posting of the change notice to the Privacy Policy will be deemed to be your agreement to the changed terms.

Notice to Parents Regarding Participation of Children and Teens

We want to help you guard your children’s privacy. In order to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, Post Institute™ will not knowingly accept “personally identifiable information” from children under the age of thirteen (13) through the Site. Our refusal to accept this information does not preclude minors, however, from visiting and using certain features of the Site. In instances where personally identifiable information about children is collected so they can participate in programs offered on the Sites, the rules of this Privacy Policy will apply and Post Institute™ will obtain verifiable parental consent before knowingly collecting such information from a child under the age of thirteen.
